Going Back to Cali for a Week!

alpinestars_vika

I'm so excited to go home for a week! I'm leaving this Friday and will be back in Philly in 2 Mondays. I'll be driving around in a rental car since it's going to be raining the entire time I'm there. So no riding for me.... *sigh*

But you may find me at the Dainese Store San Francisco on Wednesday, January 20th at 6:30pm for a viewing of Hitting the Apex! A $10 donation will directly benefit the Marco Simoncelli Foundation.

Can't wait to be back in my old town.... Just wish it could be on two wheels! :-(

Saddleman Tail Bag for your Sportbike

Saddlemen Sport Tunnel Tail Bag triumph speed triple daytona street triple I definitely see the value in a tailbag that has top access, since my Kriega packs don't.

This Saddlemen Sport Tunnel Tail Bag looks like a cool tailbag if you have a tiny rear seat like on a Speed Triple, Daytona 675 or similar. A customer came in recently and purchased one for her Daytona 675. It looks like the straps work under the seat so if you don't have any mount points below, this should work well.

Another bag I recommend for top access is the Cortech Super 2.0 Tail Bag (available in 14L or 24L), but you do need external mount points to attach this to your seat. Cortech also offers an optional rain cover if you choose the larger 24L option.

Riding Motorcycles in Pennsylvania with Mad Maps

Of course, they have an extensive offering of maps for the Bay Area, but they have one for PA and NJ. Woo Hoo! Looking forward to checking out these routes as soon as they hit my mailbox.

Why Every Woman Should Travel Alone

(At Least Once in Her Life).

LOVE this article by Hemal Jhaveri, Huffington Post. Doesn't have to be halfway around the world, in my opinion. My favorite quote:

"Most importantly, travel alone and you will discover that you are a total bad ass. "
